Drettmann Group presents:

The Elegance 64 with a new design Serial number 29 in the 64-foot Elegance Yacht line has now been launched. The yacht captivates with an innovative and modern interior design, created personally by Executive Manager Claudia Drettmann herself. As is customary in a Drettmann yacht, her passion for design has been fused with great attention to detail and a good deal of heart and soul.
Drettmann’s yacht concept offers design and luxury in a new format – simultaneously pragmatic and aesthetic. Wenge wood interiors harmonise with natural-finish oak wood floors and straight-edge sideboards; leather surfaces and covered walls impressively accentuate the dynamic progression of the yacht’s form. Furniture and room elements are presented in the top trend colour taupe, perfectly showcased with blackberry-nuanced highlights. Coloured Plexiglas screens in the salon, galley and bathrooms provide an impressive play of light and space.
Comfort, individuality and exclusivity all play major roles in this premium yacht. In her designs, Claudia Drettmann continually commits herself to setting new benchmarks. Her creations aim at merging sophisticated yacht technology with style, innovative design and fresh living concepts.
“Exclusive, one-of-a-kind masterpieces are the hallmark of our company. Every Drettmann yacht is unique, fully realising the owner’s claim to singularity and luxury,” says the 33-year-old designer and executive manager.

Sunreef unveils new superyacht project – the Sunreef 92 Double Deck

Gdansk, Poland – The Sunreef in-house design team has developed a new project of a sailing superyacht - the Sunreef 92 Double Deck with sleek hulls and a streamlined deckhouse topped by a giant 40m2 flybridge inspired by large superyachts.

The everlasting stylish look of the hull line is the result of Sunreef’s advanced design technologies and constant research into new solutions and inspirations. Sunreef's Naval Architecture Bureau has elaborately studied performance and sea capabilities using Computational Flow Dynamic (CFD) at its best level in collaboration K-Epsilon and with Rivoyre Ingenierie based in Sophia Antipolis as for Finite Elements Analysis for the structural calculation of the best optimization of structural parts.

The Sunreef 92 DD has been designed with integrated stepped hull chins which increase interior space without giving up performance. The yacht can accommodate from 6 to 10 guests in 3 to 5 double luxury suites attended by four crew. The Sunreef 92 DD will feature the canoe type boom and carbon mast, Sunreef's in-house speciality.

An innovative element aboard the Sunreef 92 DD is the smart mezzanine floor housing a coffee table with lounge area located port side on the main deck in the dining area. Thanks to this solution, there is more space below decks for additional or extended cabin or storage space. This “feature” could be equally applied to the starboard if the Client so chooses.

The two-floor owner suite is set to occupy the entire forward section of the yacht with a luxury private office, gym and leisure area on the main level and a bathroom with wardrobe and storage below decks. All cabins are generously sized with three way access to a king size bed with spectacular sea views through panoramic windows and are provided with separate bathroom and shower, spacious wardrobe, many lockers, a comprehensive entertainment system and air conditioning.

The impressive 70 m2 cockpit comprising large dining table, sunbathing mattresses, diving equipment with spacious flybridge are fitted with many fun features such as jacuzzi, two wet bars, two dining tables, coffee area, barbecue, ice makers, sun mattresses, two jet skis and a tender hidden in a purpose-built locker under the main sun pad in the cockpit.

The 19th Monaco Boat Show

The 19th Monaco Boat show was recently hosted in Port Hercules, Monaco.
Between the 23 & 26 September this pure spectacle of what's best in Super and Luxury Yachts displayed the thoroughbreds of the superyacht industry from around the globe.
The opening day saw 500 exhibitors primed and ready to receive an anticipated 30,000 visitors to view their products which ranged from a luxury Ulysse Nardin wrist watch to the premier luxury superyacht of the show “Princess Mariana” displayed by Fraser Yachts, Monaco.

The second day truly surpassed day one with an adrenalin rush of aero acrobatics given by the Royal Air Force's Red Arrows team; If you haven't see the Red Arrows in action, as they say ‘You Aint seen Nothin’ absolute precision flying with timing second to none, sponsored by Superyachts UK.
On day two we visited ‘Anna 11’ a 21.40 mtr Multihull from Sunreef Yachts, Poland and then onto ‘Lady Kathryn 1V’ a 50.0 mtr motor yacht from Westport, Fort Lauderdale. Followed by a brief visit to the Turkish yacht builder Sunrise Yachts who presented their 46.0 mtr superyacht "Africa" built in 2008 and then CNI who presented the Benetti 65.0 mtr superyacht "Silver Angel" with its magnificent "Art Deco" interior.

On day 3 we visited Alloy Yachts 51.70 mtr ‘SY Mondango’ and Feadships 65.22 mtr superyacht "Trident" a truly custom built yacht.
Burgess were taking VIP guests and Press by tender to visit the forever amazing "Maltese Falcon" riding at anchor outside the port whilst Ocean Emerald a Norman Foster designed yacht built by Rodriquez Cantieri Navali in Italy and owned by "Fractional Ownership" specialists Yacht Plus was a yacht in everyone’s focus.
Some of the world’s key movers and shakers in the brokerage, charter and Yacht building business were exhibiting a whole range of Super and Luxury yachts and included: Edmiston, Ocean Independence, Burgess, Camper & Nichlosons, Fraser Yachts, MCC, Alloy Yachts, Lurssen, Moonen, Amels, CRN, Sunrise, Icon Yachts and many more.

The show was a resounding success from day one with a total of 27,400 visitors having attended, which considering all the doom and gloom forecast of the last year gives everyone in the boating industry a true feeling of optimism for the future.
